The Teltonika RUT281 is a compact LTE router that combines 4G mobile connectivity with 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and separate WAN and LAN Ethernet ports. It supports SIM and eSIM connectivity, WAN failover and a range of network management features through RutOS, making it suitable for remote access, industrial equipment, transportation and connected infrastructure. DNS over HTTPS adds an additional option for protected DNS traffic, while the compact 83 x 25 x 74 mm housing allows the router to fit into installations where space is limited.
The router uses a Telit Cat 4 modem to provide LTE connectivity across supported cellular networks, with 3G and 2G compatibility available on applicable variants. External SMA mobile antenna connections allow the router to connect to suitable cellular antennas for network access in different installation environments.
