The Teltonika ATRM50 is a transportation-focused 5G router that combines high-speed cellular connectivity, dual-band Wi-Fi 5 and four Gigabit Ethernet interfaces in a compact aluminium enclosure. With 5G Sub-6 GHz connectivity delivering speeds of up to 3.4 Gbps, dual SIM support with eSIM, GNSS positioning and M12 connectors for Ethernet and power, it provides extensive networking capabilities for railway and other demanding transportation applications.
The router supports 5G Sub-6 GHz connectivity in both SA and NSA modes, with download speeds of up to 3.4 Gbps using 4x4 MIMO and upload speeds of up to 900 Mbps using 2x2 MIMO. It also supports 4G LTE Cat 19 with download speeds of up to 1.6 Gbps.
Two Mini SIM slots provide cellular redundancy, while the integrated consumer-type eSIM supports profile download and removal with capacity for up to seven eSIM profiles. Automatic SIM switching can respond to conditions such as weak signal, connection failure, roaming and data limits.
Four M12 X-coded Gigabit Ethernet ports provide wired networking for onboard equipment and connected systems. The M12 connection format provides a secure interface suited to transportation installations, while the router can also use Ethernet as part of WAN backup and failover configurations.
The dual-band wireless radio supports IEEE 802.11b/g/n/ac Wave 2 with data rates of up to 867 Mbps. MU-MIMO, fast roaming, wireless mesh, BSS transition management and radio resource measurement provide additional wireless networking capabilities for connected devices.
Integrated GNSS support covers GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, Galileo and QZSS. This provides positioning capabilities for transportation applications where location information can be used alongside the router's cellular and network functions.
The aluminium enclosure and M12 Ethernet and power connections support installation in transportation environments. Certification to EN 45545-2 and EN 50155, together with ITxPT certification, makes the router suitable for railway and other transportation applications.
RutOS provides a broad range of networking and security functions, including firewall, VLAN, QoS, load balancing, network backup, traffic management and multiple VPN technologies. Support for WireGuard, OpenVPN, IPsec, ZeroTier and Tailscale provides several options for secure remote networking.
The router supports WebUI, SSH, SMS, SNMP, MQTT, TR-069, JSON-RPC and Teltonika Remote Management System access. RMS allows devices to be monitored and administered remotely across distributed transportation deployments.
