The Ruckus ICX8200-24XP2-E-G is an enterprise-class access-layer switch designed to deliver multigigabit connectivity, high PoE++ power density and fast 25GbE uplinks in compact edge deployments. Built on the Ruckus ICX8200 platform, it is well suited to campus closets and branch environments that need to power and connect modern Wi-Fi access points, cameras and other high-performance endpoints without over-complicating the network design.
The ICX8200-24XP2-E-G provides 24 multigigabit PoE++ RJ-45 ports, enabling organisations to connect and power bandwidth-intensive devices such as Wi-Fi 6/6E access points, IP cameras and IoT equipment. Support for 1, 2.5, 5 and 10Gbps speeds allows efficient use of existing cabling while scaling performance at the edge.
Six 25GbE SFP28 ports deliver high-capacity uplink or stacking connectivity, providing a clear upgrade path beyond traditional 10GbE designs. This uplink bandwidth helps prevent congestion as access-layer traffic increases and simplifies aggregation into distribution or core networks.
With a total PoE budget of up to 880W when paired with an RPS24 power supply, the switch supports PoE++ (802.3bt) for powering next-generation access points and devices directly over Ethernet. This reduces the need for external power adapters and streamlines endpoint deployment.
The ICX8200-24XP2-E-G includes a hot-swappable power supply and dual hot-swappable fans, supporting straightforward maintenance and minimising downtime. This makes it suitable for enterprise access-layer environments where reliability and ease of service are important.
Each switch includes three years of remote technical support and is backed by a limited lifetime warranty. Combined with the scalable ICX8200 architecture, this provides long-term value for organisations standardising on Ruckus switching across campus and branch networks.
