The QNAP TS-h2477AXU-RP is a high-capacity 24-bay rackmount NAS built for demanding storage environments. Powered by an AMD Ryzen™ 7 PRO 7000 Series processor and equipped with the ZFS-based QuTS hero operating system, it delivers fast data access, strong multi-tasking performance, and comprehensive data integrity features. Its combination of large storage capacity, expandable memory, and high-speed networking makes it ideal for businesses handling large files, virtual machines, and multi-user workflows.
AMD Ryzen™ 7 PRO 7000 series processor features 8 cores and 16 threads, with speeds up to 5.3 GHz. Integrated AMD Radeon™ Graphics provides hardware-accelerated graphics processing.
Equipped with DDR5 non-ECC memory, expandable to 192 GB (4 x 48 GB).
Note:ECC memory is supported but cannot be mixed with non-ECC modules.
The TS-h2477AXU-RP, when equipped with 24 × 30 TB drives, provides up to 600 TB of storage capacity. You can further scale by connecting multiple high-performance QNAP JBOD expansion units that support SAS or SATA drives. For example, connecting 8 × 24-bay PCIe JBOD TL-R2400PES-RP units adds 192 additional drives, eliminating your storage capacity concerns.
Supports Port Trunking for redundant connections: Dual 10GbE and 2.5GbE ports with optional 25GbE expansion. Aggregates bandwidth and ensures network fault tolerance for stable data transfer under load or failure.
Multi-user collaboration with network switch: Upgrade with a 25GbE expansion card and high-speed switch for seamless multimedia collaboration, enabling efficient file access and real-time editing across multiple workstations.
The TS-h2477AXU-RP features two M.2 2280 PCIe Gen 5 slots which support NVMe SSDs for exceptional read/write speeds. PCIe Gen 5 is backwards compatible with PCIe Gen 4 and Gen 3, providing flexible storage performance and expansion options.
Note: M.2 SSDs are sold separately. Due to limited physical space, you should remove large heatsinks from M.2 SSDs and replace them with QNAP’s M.2 SSD heatsink before installing in the TS-h2477AXU-RP.
The TS-h2477AXU-RP has three PCIe Gen 4 slots which provide versatile expansion options, optimizing application performance and overall system efficiency.
Add more network ports and bandwidth to speed up large file transfers, backups, and virtualization. Port Trunking boosts performance further while ensuring network resilience.
Add M.2 SSDs for high-speed storage pools or cache acceleration, reducing latency and improving overall system responsiveness.
Enhance video editing and transcoding capabilities or leverage GPU Passthrough to accelerate virtual machine graphics processing.
Expand storage capacity by connecting multiple high-performance QNAP JBOD devices, ideal for large-scale data storage, backups, and long-term archiving.
Access NAS data like from a local folder: Map your TS-h2477AXU-RP NAS folders as network drives on your computer, and access files like they were stored locally.
Cross-platform file sharing: Supporting SMB/CIFS, AFP, WebDAV, and NFS protocols, the TS-h2477AXU-RP enables seamless file sharing and transfer across Windows®, macOS® and Linux® computers, without compatibility concerns.
Secure remote access: Use QVPN to create a secure virtual private network to access to the TS-h2477AXU-RP. Businesses can further leverage QuWAN to swiftly set up Mesh VPNs, allowing employees to easily join VPN and systems on intranet.
The TS-h2477AXU-RP supports VMware® vSphere™, Microsoft® Hyper-V®, and Citrix® XenServer™ mainstream virtualization platforms. With the QNAP CSI Plugin for Kubernetes®, the TS-h2477AXU-RP is also ideal block storage for Kubernetes® containerized apps.
