Featuring an MTP/MPO connector and QSFP+ form factor, it supports optical links of up to 150 metres, making it suitable for connecting compatible HP networking equipment within data centres, server rooms, and other high-bandwidth networking environments. The transceiver features an optical transmitter with a four-channel VCSEL (Vertical Cavity Surface Emitting Laser) array, supported by a four-channel input buffer, laser driver, diagnostic monitoring, and integrated control and bias circuitry for consistent optical transmission.
Providing 40Gb Ethernet communication, this QSFP+ transceiver supports fast data transfer between compatible switches, servers, and storage platforms for bandwidth-intensive network traffic.
