The Netgear XS748TM-100EUS 48-Port 10G/Multi-Gigabit Ethernet Smart Cloud Switch provides high-speed connectivity through 44 10G/Multi-Gigabit copper ports and four dedicated 10G SFP+ fibre uplinks. It supports NETGEAR Insight cloud management alongside web-based management, Smart CLI, SSH and Telnet, giving administrators several ways to configure and monitor the network.
With 44 copper ports supporting speeds up to 10Gbps, the switch provides extensive bandwidth for workstations, servers, storage systems and other high-throughput network devices. The multi-gigabit capability also allows compatible devices to operate at their supported connection speed.
Four dedicated 10G SFP+ ports provide fibre connectivity for high-speed uplinks or network aggregation. Keeping these ports separate from the copper connections gives network administrators additional flexibility when connecting the switch to other high-speed infrastructure.
NETGEAR Insight provides remote cloud management for monitoring and configuration, while the web interface offers local administration. Smart CLI, SSH and Telnet add further options for administrators who require command-line access and scriptable network management.
The switch includes a broad selection of network controls, including VLAN support for up to 512 VLANs, VLAN routing, dynamic VLAN assignment, static routes, QoS, IGMP and MLD snooping, DHCP server and relay functions, and link aggregation.
