WiFi 7 Connectivity

Supporting IEEE 802.11be, the access point provides dual-band wireless networking with 2x2 radios on both 2.4GHz and 5GHz. WiFi 7 features including MLO, 4K-QAM, OFDMA, MU-MIMO, BSS Colouring and Target Wake Time help manage wireless traffic across compatible devices. Backward compatibility allows existing 802.11ax/ac/a/b/g/n devices to connect.

Network Management

NETGEAR Insight Cloud provides management through the Insight app and portal, while a standalone local GUI is also available. The access point supports mesh networking with NETGEAR Insight access points, allowing compatible units to work together across multiple areas.

Security and Segmentation

Wireless security includes WPA3 Personal, WPA2 Personal and WPA3/WPA2 Mixed Mode. SSID isolation, VLAN support and MAC address filtering provide additional control over connected devices and network access, while configurable SSID broadcasting allows hidden wireless networks to be used where required.
