The D-Link DCF-241 240W GaN Charger provides high-power charging for laptops, tablets, smartphones and other USB devices from a single desktop charging station. GaN technology supports efficient charging across four USB-C ports and one USB-A port, with total output of up to 240W. USB-C1 can provide up to 140W with USB Power Delivery 3.1, while multiple ports can be used simultaneously to charge up to five devices. Built-in protection against overcurrent, overvoltage, overcharge, overtemperature and short circuits provides additional safety during charging.
The charger provides a maximum total output of 240W, allowing high-demand devices such as laptops to be charged alongside tablets, smartphones and other accessories. When used individually, USB-C1 can provide up to 140W, while USB-C2 and USB-C3 can each provide up to 100W.
Four USB-C ports and one USB-A port provide five charging connections in a single unit. USB-C4 supplies up to 30W, while the USB-A port supports up to 22.5W using Quick Charge 3.0, making the charger suitable for a variety of modern devices.
USB-C1 and USB-C2 support Power Delivery 3.1 and Quick Charge 4.0, while USB-C3 and USB-C4 support Power Delivery 3.0 and Quick Charge 4.0. The USB-A port supports Quick Charge 3.0 for compatible devices. A 5A EPR-rated USB-C cable is required to achieve the 140W output from USB-C1.
Gallium nitride technology allows the charger to provide high power through a compact desktop unit. It supports efficient power delivery while helping reduce the size and heat associated with conventional high-power charging hardware.
Multiple protection functions monitor charging conditions and can disable the power supply when overcurrent, overvoltage, overcharge, overtemperature or short-circuit conditions are detected. The charger also incorporates temperature control that can reduce rated power when the internal temperature becomes excessive.
