The Apex enclosure holds the compatible 13-inch iPad Air within a dedicated aluminium frame and uses a keyed locking mechanism to help restrict unauthorised removal. The open areas around the tablet allow the cameras and sensors to remain available for normal operation while the iPad is mounted.
