The MS130-8P-I-HW is a compact, silent, and power-efficient network switch built for flexible deployment in small offices, retail counters, and remote workspaces. With full cloud-managed capabilities through the Meraki dashboard and a reliable PoE+ power budget, it allows IT teams to simplify remote site setups while keeping hardware footprint minimal. Wall-mountable and fanless, it's ideal for environments where space and noise control matter just as much as connectivity.
The MS130-8P-I is designed for physical environments that require dependable connectivity without needing rack infrastructure. Its compact body fits neatly into network closets, shelves, or directly on walls, making it a practical fit for lean setups.
Thanks to its fanless design, this switch operates silently, making it a strong choice for locations where noise matters—like retail, hospitality check-in counters, or meeting rooms. Passive cooling ensures consistent uptime without moving parts.
With access to Meraki's web-based dashboard, IT staff can monitor traffic, set configurations, and perform diagnostics from anywhere. Integrated visibility tools like packet capture, cable testing, and automatic alerts reduce the need for on-site visits.
Each of the 8 RJ-45 ports supports PoE+, capable of powering access points, VoIP phones, and IP cameras. With a generous 120W total power budget, there's plenty of headroom for modern connected gear in compact setups.
Meraki switches run the same operation system used by all Meraki products. The use of a common operating system allows a consistent experience across all product lines, from security products to VoIP phones. Meraki switches automatically connect to the Meraki cloud, download the configuration, and join the appropriate network. If new firmware is required, this is retrieved by the switch and updated automatically. This ensures the network is kept up to date with bug fixes, security updates, and new features
Similar to other Meraki products, it requires a license, offered in terms ranging from 1 to 10 years. The license provides access to Meraki's comprehensive access to 24/7/365 support, hardware replacement under warranty, future firmware releases, one-time fixed cost for your network.
Licenses start consuming time from the date purchased, not the date they are added to an Organization.
Note: Waiting to activate a license in Dashboard does not delay its activation date. There is no time benefit gained from delaying an activation.
As per Cisco's UK policy we are unable to ship any Cisco products to any address other than a company registered address as shown on Companies House.
