When maintaining operating uptime in a data center or server room, sustainable energy efficiency can make all the difference. The ATEN PG5308 Intelligent PDU is a high-performance, eco-friendly solution engineered to meet the growing power demands of modern IT infrastructure. Designed with a 1U rack housing and equipped with IEC socket configurations, the PG5308 offers advanced power distribution, precise monitoring, and efficient management capabilities to ensure consistent uptime and optimized energy use.
The PG5308 is powered by an ARM-Cortex A8 processor, delivering fast, stable control and energy data calculations. It ensures all connected devices receive power in under 10 seconds after startup, minimizing downtime and streamlining power delivery across connected IT systems.
The front-panel LCD provides key electrical readings such as Aggregate Current (A), Voltage (V), Power (W), and Power Consumption (kWh). The display automatically changes color to red during critical or warning events, alerting administrators to irregular power conditions that require immediate attention.
Equipped with a Sensor port for RJ-45 connections, the PG5308 supports up to eight environmental sensors (EA1640 series, sold separately). These sensors enable real-time monitoring of temperature, humidity, airflow, air pressure, and potential leaks, providing proactive management of environmental conditions in server rooms.
The built-in COM port allows for direct communication via RS-232 protocol. This provides administrators with command-line interface (CLI) control for flexible and efficient configuration, diagnostics, and management of the PDU.
The PG5308 supports wireless connectivity through an optional USB WiFi dongle. This capability enables firmware updates, log exports, and DCIM integration over wireless networks, simplifying deployment and remote management tasks.
Featuring dual LAN ports for Internet and Intranet connectivity, the PG5308 supports up to 1G Ethernet and allows cascading of up to 64 PDUs. This design eliminates the need for additional network switches, reducing costs while optimizing rack space utilization.
Through ATEN’s eco DC software, the PG5308 provides seamless integration into Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) systems. Users can monitor and analyze power, energy, and environmental data through an intuitive web interface to maintain efficient operations and sustainability goals.
The ATEN PG5308 PDU is ideal for server rooms, data centers, and IT racks that require precise, energy-efficient power distribution to high-density equipment. It enhances operational visibility, sustainability, and scalability for modern network environments.
