Cost Efficient PS/2 DB-15 Two Console KVM
Austin Hughes provides its entry level, highly cost efficient 16 port Two Console KVM switches based on the DB-15 interface. Using a specially designed 3 in one KVM cable with PS/2 fly lead plugs - allows a user to cost effectively specify the switch to match the exact server configurations – in our Two console and IP variants of these switches we offer multiplatform switches that allow PS/2 and USB to be used - without conversion - on the same switch platform simply by selection of the low cost cable type. This is feature often only found on higher cost Cat5 switches where a dongle must be used to convert the interface.Using the PS/2 or USB KVM switch allows you to connect up to 16 servers on one switch, in addition to this the KVM switch can be 'stacked' to 8 levels providing access to 128 servers.
Secure Remote Access
The second console allows a user to work securely via a remote Keyboard, monitor and mouse over a Cat5 link up to 300m away from the installed switch / servers. This plug and play technology requires no software to be installed on the servers but provides seamless secure access over Cat5 4 pair copper cable to all switch ports allowing access to your servers even if the Ethernet / WAN network has failed or is unavailable.
