The Zyxel XS1935-12F-ZZ0101F is a 10-port 10G Multi-Gig Lite-L3 Smart Managed Fiber Switch with two 10G Multi-Gig RJ45 ports and ten 10-Gigabit SFP+ ports. It provides high-speed fibre connectivity for aggregation, server, storage and workstation environments, while supporting Layer 3 static routing, VLAN routing and advanced traffic management features.
The switch combines ten 10-Gigabit SFP+ ports with two 10G-capable multi-Gigabit RJ45 ports, providing flexible high-speed connectivity for fibre links, servers, network storage and other bandwidth-intensive equipment. The RJ45 interfaces support 100M, 1G, 2.5G, 5G and 10G Ethernet speeds.
With a 240Gbps switching capacity and 178.5Mpps forwarding rate, the switch provides substantial bandwidth for demanding network traffic. A 16K MAC address table, 2MB packet buffer and 12KB jumbo frame support help accommodate high-volume data transfers across connected devices.
Layer 3 capabilities include static routing, VLAN routing and support for up to 512 IPv4 and 512 IPv6 forwarding entries. The switch also provides 32 routing table entries and 32 IPv4 and 32 IPv6 IP interfaces, allowing network traffic to be segmented and routed between different network sections.
Network administrators can make use of 802.1Q VLANs, VLAN trunking, Voice VLAN, GVRP, port-based VLANs and Independent VLAN Learning. Security features include 802.1X authentication, port security, MAC authentication, guest VLANs, port isolation, RADIUS authentication and IPv4/IPv6 ACL packet filtering.
The switch provides eight hardware queues per port and supports SPQ, WRR and WFQ queuing methods. Rate limiting, policy-based prioritisation and storm control can help manage network traffic, while IGMP snooping, multicast filtering and static multicast features support multicast-based applications.
Management can be carried out through the web interface and SNMP, while NebulaFlex provides the option of using Zyxel Nebula cloud management. The switch also supports Zyxel iStacking, firmware upgrades through FTP or the web interface, configuration backup and retrieval, DHCP relay, port mirroring and NTP.
