The Zyxel WAX610D-EU0101F WiFi 6 Access Point provides fast, reliable wireless connectivity for medium to high-density environments, combining dual-band 802.11ax technology with AX3000-class performance. It delivers up to 575 Mbps on the 2.4 GHz band and 2400 Mbps on the 5 GHz band, with 4x4 + 2x2 MU-MIMO and support for 160 MHz channels to help accommodate demanding wireless traffic.
Dual-band WiFi 6 connectivity combines 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz wireless networking to provide strong throughput across a range of connected devices. With support for up to 2400 Mbps on the 5 GHz band and 575 Mbps on 2.4 GHz, the access point is suited to busy wireless environments where multiple users and devices need consistent network access.
The dual-optimised internal antenna system uses a 4x4 configuration on 5 GHz and 2x2 on 2.4 GHz, with antenna gains of up to 6 dBi and 5 dBi respectively. The antenna system supports different mounting orientations, helping the access point provide consistent wireless coverage when installed on a wall or ceiling.
A 2.5GbE Ethernet interface provides a high-speed connection between the access point and the wider network, helping to make better use of the available WiFi 6 throughput. Power can be supplied through IEEE 802.3at PoE, with a maximum power draw of around 19 W, while a 12 V DC input is also supported.
NebulaFlex Pro gives network administrators the flexibility to operate the access point in standalone mode, through an on-premises controller or with Zyxel Nebula cloud management. This allows the same hardware to be managed according to the requirements of different network installations and administration preferences.
Features including band steering, load balancing, dynamic channel selection, fast roaming and wireless mesh support help manage connected devices across the network. Security options include WPA, WPA2 and WPA3, along with IEEE 802.1X, RADIUS authentication, MAC filtering, Layer 2 isolation and rogue access point detection.
