Ubiquiti's EdgeSwitch PoE is a cost-effective 5-port Gigabit switch with 24V PoE output on each port, ideal for powering Ubiquiti AirMax, UniFi, and airVision devices directly from the switch.
The Ubiquiti ES-5XP is a managed switch designed to deliver Power over Ethernet (PoE) on the 10/100/1000 ports configured for PoE. It includes features such as port monitoring, system connection and management services, Virtual Local Area Network (VLAN) configuration, Spanning Tree Protocol (STP), Ping Watchdog, and configurable alerts.
EdgeSwitch XP offers a user-friendly configuration interface for efficient setup and control. Accessible via a secured management port and web browser, the EdgeSwitch XP Configuration Interface provides intuitive management with a virtual view of the ports, showing physical connectivity, speed, and PoE status.
With the ES-5XP, administrators can configure VLANs, monitor traffic, and adjust port settings via the dedicated management interface. This gives small networks a degree of control typically reserved for larger switches.
Each data port can deliver 24V passive PoE, making it easy to supply power and network connectivity to compatible devices. The total power consumption of the switch is around 60W, sufficient for most small-scale deployments.
