The Ubiquiti NanoStation M2 (NSM2) is a versatile 2.4 GHz outdoor wireless device designed for reliable long-distance connectivity. Built to handle demanding point-to-point and point-to-multipoint applications, it delivers solid performance in environments where wired connections are impractical. Its durable, weather-resistant construction makes it ideal for outdoor installations, while airMAX technology ensures efficient and stable wireless throughput even in challenging conditions.
Unlike standard Wi-Fi protocol, Ubiquiti's Time Division Multiple Access (TDMA) airMAX protocol allows each client to send and receive data using pre-designated time slots scheduled by an intelligent AP controller. This "time slot" method eliminates hidden node collisions and maximizes airtime efficiency. It provides many magnitudes of performance improvements in latency, throughput, and scalability compared to all other outdoor systems in its class.
The NanoStationM provides a secondary Ethernet port with software-enabled PoE output for seamless IP video integration.
The remote hardware reset circuitry of the NanoStationM allows the device to be remotely reset from the power supply location. The NanoStationM may also be powered by the Ubiquiti Networks® EdgeSwitch™. In addition, any NanoStationM can easily become 48V, 802.3af compliant through use of the Ubiquiti® Instant 802.3af Adapter (sold separately).
Ubiquiti NanoStation M2 delivers over 150 Mbps of real outdoor throughput with a range extending beyond 15 km. Featuring 2x2 MIMO technology, the NanoStation M2 achieves faster, more stable links across longer distances than ever before.
The original NanoStation set the standard as the world’s first affordable and efficiently designed outdoor broadband CPE. The new NanoStation M and NanoStation Loco M continue this legacy with redesigned, sleek, and refined form factors that represent the future of outdoor wireless connectivity.
The NanoStation M includes remote hardware reset circuitry, allowing the device to be reset directly from the power supply location. Additionally, with the use of Ubiquiti’s Instant 802.3af adapter, the device can be upgraded to 802.3af 48V compliance. By default, the NanoStation M operates at 24V without remote reset functionality.
Equipped with a panel antenna and dual-polarity functionality, the NanoStation M is ideal for Point-to-MultiPoint (PtMP) deployments where high performance and streamlined form factor are essential.
The NanoStation M features a compact CPE design that helped expand the global Wireless ISP industry, setting a benchmark for efficiency and simplicity in wireless connectivity.
Designed for user convenience, the NanoStation M requires no tools for assembly and only a single wrench for pole mounting, ensuring quick and easy installation.
With software-enabled PoE output, the secondary Ethernet port powers additional devices such as PoE security cameras, supporting seamless IP video integration and streamlined installation.
Ubiquiti’s airOS firmware technology provides advanced outdoor multi-point networking capabilities. It enables wireless configuration, bridge and routing setup, and system management through an intuitive interface.
Proven in millions of global installations, Ubiquiti’s airMAX technology delivers exceptional performance in outdoor networks. The TDMA-based airMAX protocol supports scalability, high throughput, and low latency across unlicensed multipoint deployments.
The NanoStation Mount allows for fast and flexible installation on windows or walls. Its 180° vertical or horizontal adjustment capability ensures precise positioning for optimal signal alignment.
