The NETGEAR GS116EPP-100EUS is a 16-port Gigabit Ethernet Easy Smart managed switch that combines high-speed wired connectivity with high-power PoE+ support for compatible network devices. It provides 15 10/100/1000Mbps RJ45 ports with IEEE 802.3at PoE+ and one dedicated SFP port for fibre connections. With up to 231W of total PoE power, VLAN and QoS management, configurable PoE controls and silent fanless operation.
Fifteen 10/100/1000Mbps RJ45 ports provide Gigabit Ethernet connectivity for computers, access points, IP cameras, VoIP phones and other network devices. A dedicated SFP port provides a fibre interface for longer-distance network connections.
The fifteen PoE+ ports support IEEE 802.3at and can provide up to 30W of power per port to compatible devices. A total PoE budget of up to 231W provides capacity for multiple powered devices connected across the switch.
Easy Smart management provides network controls through a web-based interface, including VLAN configuration and traffic management features. Port-based and 802.1Q VLAN support allows network connections to be separated into logical groups.
PoE controls allow administrators to manage power prioritisation, configure power limits for individual ports and schedule PoE operation. These features provide control over how connected powered devices use the available power budget.
IEEE 802.1p QoS support helps assign priority to network traffic. This is useful for networks carrying voice, video and other traffic where consistent handling of important data is required.
