Features

• Raw Power and Performance: L009 features a powerful dual-core ARM CPU, providing substantial improvements in routing, filtering, firewall rules, IPsec hardware encryption, and advanced RouterOS features. Modern ARM CPU architecture offers advantages over older MIPS-based devices, enabling the use of the latest Linux Kernel features and the implementation of custom container projects. Up to 4 times faster than RB2011 in most scenarios, with IPsec hardware encryption ensuring lower CPU usage without performance degradation. Expect 60-90 Mbps throughput using a 1400-byte packet size.
• Connectivity and Ports: All ports are now Gigabit Ethernet ports, with PoE-In on the first port for powering the unit and PoE-Out on the last port for powering other devices. • Space-Efficient Rackmount Configuration: MikroTik suggests a space-saving configuration: Combine an RB5009 with PoE-Out ports and seven L009 routers in just two 1U rackmount spaces for efficient space management and reliable powering. A cost-effective alternative is the L009UiGS-RM, lacking 2.4 GHz wireless but retaining all other features and mounting accessories.
