The Microchip PD-AS-951/12-24 is a single-port Gigabit PoE splitter designed to power network devices that cannot accept power directly through their Ethernet connection.
At the receiving device, the splitter provides separate LAN data and DC power connections, allowing the terminal to receive Ethernet through its network input and power through its DC input. The DC output is user selectable between 12V and 24V.
