Administrators can monitor traffic, manage firmware, and troubleshoot live issues without stepping foot in the server room. The cloud-managed interface allows for near real-time updates and changes to configuration, reducing downtime and manual upkeep.
With 370 watts of available PoE+ power, there's plenty of headroom to support dense deployments of access points, phones, and security cameras. Intelligent power management allocates wattage based on need, avoiding waste and brownouts.
Each unit requires a Meraki license, available in annual terms, which keeps the device secure and connected to the dashboard services. Licensing unlocks all management, reporting, and diagnostic features with no local controller required.

The use of a common operating system allows a consistent experience across all product lines, from security products to VoIP phones. Meraki switches automatically connect to the Meraki cloud, download the configuration, and join the appropriate network.
