The CE FTLX1471D3BCL Finisar Coherent Compatible SFP+ Transceiver provides 10 Gigabit Ethernet connectivity across single-mode fibre links up to 10km. Operating at 1310nm, the module uses an uncooled DFB laser and duplex LC connector for optical transmission. It supports 10GBASE-LR/LW applications, incorporates digital diagnostic functions and uses a single 3.3V power supply.
This SFP+ transceiver supports 10GBASE-LR and 10GBASE-LW Ethernet applications over single-mode fibre, with a maximum specified link length of 10km. The module supports bit rates from 9.95 to 10.5Gb/s according to the later Rev. C datasheet.
The module uses an uncooled 1310nm DFB laser and a limiting receiver for optical communication over single-mode fibre. A duplex LC connector provides the fibre interface.
Built-in digital diagnostic functions provide monitoring through a 2-wire serial interface in accordance with SFF-8472. The hot-pluggable SFP+ footprint supports installation in compatible networking equipment.
