The Eizo CG2400S is a 24.1-inch ColorEdge monitor with a 1920 x 1200 WUXGA resolution and 16:10 aspect ratio, providing a spacious vertical workspace for photography, video editing, colour grading, graphics and print production. Its wide-gamut IPS panel displays 1.07 billion colours through 10-bit processing and a 16-bit LUT, with 99% Adobe RGB and 98% DCI-P3 coverage.
The 24.1-inch IPS display provides a native resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels with a 16:10 aspect ratio. The additional vertical space compared with Full HD provides room for tool panels and other controls while keeping more of the working image visible.
The wide-gamut IPS panel covers 99% of the Adobe RGB colour space and 98% of DCI-P3. It also provides 100% coverage of Rec.709, EBU, SMPTE-C and sRGB, supporting accurate colour reproduction across photography, video and print workflows.
The monitor supports 10-bit display with 1.07 billion colours and uses a 16-bit look-up table containing 278 trillion colour tones. This combination provides detailed colour processing and smooth transitions between subtle shades.
HLG and PQ gamma modes support HDR video workflows, with preset modes for HDR content including PQ and HLG EOTF settings. The monitor provides a typical maximum brightness of 400 cd/m² and a typical contrast ratio of 1800:1.
The integrated calibration sensor allows automatic recalibration at scheduled intervals. Calibration can take place while the monitor is in use or while the connected computer is switched off, helping maintain consistent colour reproduction without requiring a separate calibration device for routine calibration.
USB Type-C provides DisplayPort Alt Mode for video transmission, USB data connectivity and up to 70 W Power Delivery for a connected notebook or mobile device. A single cable can therefore carry the display signal, connect the USB hub and provide charging power.
Alongside USB Type-C, the monitor provides DisplayPort and HDMI inputs for connection to computers and compatible video equipment. The interfaces support the monitor's WUXGA resolution and 10-bit display capability.
The Digital Uniformity Equalizer helps maintain consistent brightness and colour characteristics across the panel. This supports accurate image evaluation when working across different areas of the screen.
Preset modes include BT.2020, BT.709, DCI-P3, PQ_DCI-P3, HLG_BT.2100, Adobe RGB and sRGB. These modes provide convenient starting points for different colour spaces and HDR production requirements.
The monitor has received FograCert Softproof Monitor certification based on ISO 12646 requirements. This certification confirms its suitability for colour-critical softproofing applications in print-related workflows.
The integrated USB hub provides two USB 5Gbps Type-A downstream ports and two USB 2.0 Type-A downstream ports. A USB Type-B upstream connection is also available alongside the USB Type-C upstream connection.
Factory adjustment of colour characteristics provides consistent image reproduction from the outset. The monitor also supports hardware calibration for adjustment of brightness, white point and gamma characteristics.
The stand provides 155 mm of height adjustment and 344° of swivel adjustment, along with tilt and pivot functions. A 100 x 100 mm VESA mounting pattern is also available for compatible mounting systems.
The monitor housing contains more than 85% recycled plastic. Its packaging uses molded pulp made from recycled cardboard and newspaper, while the included cables are packaged without plastic bags.
A light-shielding hood is included to help reduce reflections and the effect of surrounding light on the screen during colour-critical work. This is particularly useful in controlled photography, editing and print environments.
The monitor is suitable for photography, image editing and retouching, video editing, post-production and colour grading, design, illustration, printing, fine art printing, and textile and fashion workflows.
