The D-Link G572 is a 5G NR BE7200 Wi-Fi 7 router that provides high-speed Internet access through 5G mobile broadband and advanced wireless networking. It supports 5G NR download speeds of up to 7.01 Gbps and upload speeds of up to 2.5 Gbps, while Wi-Fi 7 delivers combined wireless speeds of up to 7.2 Gbps. A Nano SIM card provides Internet access without requiring a fixed-line connection, while the 2.5-Gigabit Ethernet WAN port and four Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports provide wired connectivity for compatible devices.
The router supports 5G NR technology with theoretical download speeds of up to 7.01 Gbps and upload speeds of up to 2.5 Gbps. A Nano SIM card provides direct mobile broadband access, making it suitable for locations where fixed-line Internet is unavailable or where a mobile connection is preferred.
Wi-Fi 7 with Multi-Link Operation provides combined wireless speeds of up to 7.2 Gbps, with up to 5764 Mbps available on the 5 GHz band and up to 1376 Mbps on the 2.4 GHz band. Support for IEEE 802.11be and earlier Wi-Fi standards provides compatibility with a wide range of wireless devices.
A 2.5-Gigabit Ethernet WAN port provides a high-speed wired connection for broadband services, while four Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports allow multiple wired devices to connect to the network. The combination of 5G, WAN and LAN connectivity provides flexible options for different network configurations.
Four internal LTE/5G NR antennas provide cellular connectivity, with two of these able to be substituted with external TS-9 antennas. External antennas can be used to improve 5G NR signal reception and coverage in locations where cellular signal strength is limited.
Automatic WAN failover allows the router to switch between the 5G/LTE connection and Ethernet WAN backup when the primary connection is unavailable. This provides an additional connection path for maintaining Internet access.
The G572 supports up to 256 simultaneous connected devices, making it suitable for smart homes, small businesses, streaming, gaming and connected IoT equipment. Its Wi-Fi 7 capabilities provide high wireless capacity for multiple users and devices.
The router supports current Wi-Fi security protocols and includes features such as parental controls and guest networks. Setup and network management can be handled through the D-Link FALCON app or web-based interface.
