The D-Link G536 5G NR BE3600 Wi-Fi 7 Router provides high-speed 5G connectivity and next-generation wireless networking for homes, remote locations, and small businesses. It supports 5G NR download speeds of up to 4.67 Gbps and Wi-Fi 7 speeds of up to 3.6 Gbps, with a Nano SIM slot allowing Internet access without a fixed broadband connection. Dual 2.5-Gigabit Ethernet ports provide fast wired connectivity, while automatic WAN failover can switch between 5G and Ethernet to help maintain an active Internet connection.
The router supports 5G NR connectivity with theoretical downlink speeds of up to 4.67 Gbps and uplink speeds of up to 1.25 Gbps in 5G standalone mode. It also supports LTE connectivity, providing a flexible mobile broadband connection where fixed-line Internet is unavailable or unsuitable.
Wi-Fi 7 provides wireless data rates of up to 3600 Mbps, combining up to 2882 Mbps on the 5 GHz band with up to 688 Mbps on the 2.4 GHz band. The router supports IEEE 802.11be along with earlier Wi-Fi standards for compatibility with a wide range of wireless devices.
Two 2.5-Gigabit Ethernet ports provide high-speed wired networking. The WAN/LAN port can be configured according to the network setup, while the dedicated LAN port provides an additional connection for compatible wired devices.
Eight internal LTE/5G NR antennas and five internal Wi-Fi antennas provide wireless connectivity, while two of the cellular antenna connections can be substituted with external SMA antennas. This allows optional external antennas to be used where additional 4G or 5G signal reception is required.
Network security includes WPA, WPA2 and WPA3 support, Stateful Packet Inspection, anti-spoofing checks, IP address filtering and DMZ functionality. The router can be managed through its web interface or the D-Link FALCON app for iOS and Android.
