The DA11AEN is a compact Dante® audio encoder designed to convert two-channel analogue audio into a Dante® digital audio stream. It enables traditional analogue audio sources to be seamlessly integrated into modern Dante® networked audio systems.
The DA11AEN converts two channels of analogue audio into a Dante® digital stream, allowing non-Dante® equipment to function as network audio sources within a Dante® environment.
Analogue inputs support both balanced and unbalanced signals, providing flexible connectivity for mixing consoles, amplifiers, computers, and other professional audio sources.
By encoding analogue audio to Dante®, the DA11AEN allows legacy and non-networked audio devices to be easily routed and distributed across a Dante® audio network.
The unit can be powered using Class 1 802.3af Power over Ethernet from any PoE-enabled network switch or via a local 12V DC power supply input when PoE is not available.
Each input channel features independent sensitivity adjustment from +24dBu to -10dBV, allowing accurate level matching to a wide range of analogue source equipment.
The DA11AEN supports 44.1 kHz, 48 kHz, and 96 kHz sample rates at 24-bit resolution, ensuring high-quality audio capture and compatibility with professional audio systems.
Device latency can be configured to 1 ms, 2 ms, or 5 ms using Dante® Controller, enabling optimisation for different network designs and performance requirements.
Support for AES67 RTP audio transport allows interoperability with other AES67-compliant audio-over-IP systems alongside Dante® networks.
