The Allied Telesis AT-X530L-18GHXM-30 is a compact, rack-mountable Layer 3 managed switch designed for high-performance network access and edge deployments. Part of the x530L Series, this 16-port Multi-Gigabit PoE++ switch delivers 2.5G and 5G connectivity, high-power PoE++ support, and enterprise-grade resiliency in a stackable form factor, making it ideal for powering Wi-Fi 6 access points, PTZ cameras, and other high-demand edge devices.
The AT-X530L-18GHXM-30 delivers sixteen Multi-Gigabit access ports supporting 2.5G and 5G speeds, each capable of supplying up to 90 watts of PoE++. This enables direct connection and power for Wi-Fi 6 access points, outdoor PTZ cameras, lighting controllers, and other high-power edge devices.
Two integrated 10G SFP+ uplink ports provide high-bandwidth connectivity to aggregation or distribution switches. This ensures that traffic from Multi-Gigabit access ports is carried efficiently without introducing performance bottlenecks.
VCStack™ enables multiple x530L switches to operate as a single logical device, simplifying configuration and management. Long-distance stacking over fibre allows distributed access layers to be centrally managed while maintaining high availability.
Support for EPSRing™ and standards-based G.8032 Ethernet Ring Protection enables rapid failover in ring topologies. In the event of a link or device failure, traffic is automatically rerouted within milliseconds to maintain continuous network access.
Active Fiber Monitoring™ (AFM) enhances network security by detecting abnormal optical signal levels that may indicate fibre tapping or tampering. The switch can automatically respond to protect sensitive data traversing fibre uplinks.
Integrated support for Autonomous Management Framework™ Plus enables automation, zero-touch provisioning, and centralised control of the network. This reduces operational overhead while improving consistency and reliability across access deployments.
The AT-X530L-18GHXM-30 meets stringent compliance requirements, including FIPS 140-2 certification for cryptographic security, IPv6 Ready validation, JITC approval for secure government networks, OpenFlow conformance for SDN environments, and Trade Agreement Act compliance.
