SonicWall product management and engineering teams are mitigating an issue in Network Security Manager (NSM) On-Prem. In observed cases, backups created by NSM On-Prem 2.3.4-6-R15 or earlier may be corrupted and could potentially lead to information loss if used to restore the system.

SonicWall strongly advises customers not to restore from backups created by NSM On-Prem 2.3.4-6-R15 or earlier until updated firmware is made available and applied.

A detailed workaround is being tested and will be outlined in a dedicated knowledge base (KB) article. Once available, a follow-up communication will be sent.
