The Ubiquiti UniFi USW-FLEX-2.5G-5 is a compact 5-port network switch, featuring 5 x 2.5 GbE RJ45 ports for a switching capacity of 12.5Gbps. This switch can be powered either by a USB-C power input or by PoE-In, delivering dependable high-speed network connectivity and Layer 2 switching features to connected devices.
Building on the previous FLEX-MINI model, the USW-FLEX-2.5G-5 offers 5 x RJ45 ports capable of both 1 and 2.5 gigabit throughput rates, achieving a maximum switching capacity of 12.5Gbps. Suitable for indoor deployments, this switch is compact and low-profile, with illuminating LEDs to indicate port status and connectivity.
In addition to its impressive switching capacity, the USW-FLEX-2.5G-5 includes a suite of Layer 2 switching features such as Rapid Spanning Tree Protocol to prevent Ethernet looping, port isolation and mirroring, and support for jumbo frames to facilitate large file transfers.
The USW-FLEX-2.5G-5 can be powered either with the included USB-C PSU or via PoE from another network switch, broadening the range of potential deployments.
