The Ubiquiti UniFi UPS-2U Rackmount Uninterruptible Power Supply is a UniFi-managed 1.5 kVA, 2U rackmount UPS designed to deliver reliable backup power and network-aware monitoring for critical infrastructure. With a total output capacity of 1000 W, eight rear outlets, and a front-accessible hot-swappable battery, it integrates cleanly into UniFi environments while remaining compatible with third-party systems through NUT support.

Four outlets supply both battery backup and surge protection for essential devices, while four additional surge-only outlets protect non-critical equipment. This layout allows prioritisation of connected hardware without external power strips.
The front-panel accessible battery can be replaced while the unit remains installed, reducing maintenance time and avoiding disruption to connected equipment during battery servicing.
An integrated Ethernet port enables network-based monitoring and management through UniFi, with additional compatibility via Network UPS Tools (NUT) for third-party devices. The UPS can issue shutdown signals when battery voltage reaches a low threshold.
