The UF-WiFi6-UK by Ubiquiti is a compact fiber access device combining GPON connectivity with high-efficiency Wi-Fi 6, designed for modern residential or small business networks. Built with practical deployment in mind, it delivers consistent wireless performance, local switching, and flexible power options, all managed through the UISP platform.
Equipped with Wi-Fi 6 and 2x2 MIMO on both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands, the device delivers wireless throughput up to 1.5 Gbps combined. Designed for environments with multiple devices, it maintains signal efficiency and reduces latency.
The UF-WiFi6-UK operates in layer 2 or 3 modes, allowing for switching or routing, NAT, VLAN tagging, and local firewall rules. This makes it suitable for users who need direct control over packet flow and interface behavior.
The device runs on 5 V USB-C power or 24 V passive PoE, with a max draw of 11 W. Its compact, UV-resistant enclosure can be desktop-placed or wall-mounted for flexible installations.
The onboard GPON SC/APC port supports up to 2.488 Gbps downstream and 1.244 Gbps upstream, with a range of up to 20 km. It meets ITU G.984 standards and supports remote provisioning and reset through UISP.
