The Ubiquiti ER-8-XG, known as the EdgeRouter Infinity, delivers high-speed networking in a compact 1U rackmount design. Designed for demanding data traffic, it combines eight 10G SFP+ ports with a Gigabit Ethernet port, allowing flexible fiber and copper connectivity. Its dual hot-swappable power modules ensure uninterrupted operation, while a 16-core processor and 16 GB RAM keep data flowing smoothly across multiple interfaces.

Power Versatility

The EdgeRouter Infinity includes two AC/DC power modules – one for backup. An optional DC/DC power module is available for use with DC power.

Centralised Management

The EdgeRouter Infinity is supported and managed by UNMS™ (Ubiquiti® Network Management System), a comprehensive controller with an intuitive UI. A single control plane manages registered EdgeMAX® devices across multiple sites.

Ubiquiti Extended Warranty

Ubiquiti currently offers 1 year standard manufacturer warranty on equipment purchased through official UK distributors.

In the unlikely event that you have any issues with your Ubiquiti product within the 1 year of manufacturer warranty, please contact your account manager in the first instance. Our technical team will do everything they can to find a resolution to your problem. If a fix cannot be provided, then an RMA will need to be registered via the Ubiquiti Reseller Portal.

On all purchases made through Comms Express, we offer our customers options to upgrade the standard manufacturer warranty to a 3 or 5 year advanced hardware replacement.
