The Schleifenbauer 150780 Digital Input/Output Sensor is a versatile interface module designed to bring both monitoring and control capabilities to intelligent power distribution units. Outfitted with four digital inputs via an 8-pin connector, the sensor supports non-isolated contact closure detection using internal pull-up ground switching, making it ideal for connecting push buttons, switches, or other dry contact devices.
In addition to its input capabilities, it features two 12V relay-controlled outputs with dry contact functionality, enabling responsive interaction with external devices such as alarms, indicator lights, or system interlocks. The unit incorporates dual RJ45 ports for straightforward communication and chaining, along with a USB-C interface secured by a screw lock, which serves as both the power and data link.
Each PDU can support up to 16 of these sensors per USB port in a daisy chain configuration, facilitating broad system integration with minimal cabling complexity. A dual-color LED provides real-time visual feedback on device and channel status, enhancing diagnostic efficiency. Compact and adaptable, this sensor module is a practical choice for data centers, industrial automation, or any application requiring coordinated digital input monitoring and output control.
