The Netgear WAX610W-100EUS Insight Managed WiFi 6 access point provides dual-band wireless connectivity with a combined AX1800 throughput of up to 1.8 Gbps. Operating across the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands, it supports WiFi 6 features including OFDMA, bidirectional MU-MIMO, BSS Coloring and Target Wake Time. The wall-plate format includes one Gigabit PoE uplink and four additional Gigabit LAN ports, allowing the access point to connect wired devices such as IP phones and smart TVs while receiving power over Ethernet.
The access point operates simultaneously on the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands, delivering a combined AX1800 theoretical throughput. The 2.4 GHz band supports up to 600 Mbps, while the 5 GHz band provides up to 1,200 Mbps, giving connected devices access to separate wireless frequencies according to their requirements.
WiFi 6 technologies including OFDMA, bidirectional MU-MIMO, BSS Coloring and Target Wake Time help manage wireless traffic across multiple connected devices. The 2x2 configuration on both bands provides four total wireless streams for simultaneous client connectivity.
Power over Ethernet allows the access point to receive both power and network connectivity through its PoE uplink. One Gigabit PoE uplink is accompanied by four Gigabit LAN ports, providing connections for wired equipment such as IP phones, smart TVs and other network devices.
NETGEAR Insight provides cloud-based and local management for configuring and monitoring the access point. Zero-touch deployment, VLAN configuration, QoS controls and remote management can be handled through the Insight platform, helping administrators manage wireless networks from a central interface.
Up to eight separate SSIDs can be configured for different groups and device types, including employees, guests and IoT equipment. VLAN support allows network traffic to be separated, while WPA2 and WPA3 security options help protect wireless connections.
