The Netgear RBS1830-10000S Adjustable Rear Bracket Support provides additional four-post rack support for compatible M4250 and M4350 switches. It accommodates rack depths from 18 to 30 inches and supports equipment depths from 350 to 432 mm, helping keep heavier network switches securely supported at the rear.
The adjustable bracket system accommodates equipment with depths between 350 and 432 mm while fitting four-post racks measuring 18 to 30 inches deep. This provides flexibility when installing compatible switches in racks with different dimensions.
The rear support helps keep heavier switches level and reduces the risk of the equipment sagging behind the front mounting points. It is suitable for fixed rack installations as well as mobile applications where equipment needs additional support during transport.
The mounting hardware supports both circular and square rack holes using #10-32 and #12-24 thread types. Separate front mounting plates and hardware allow the bracket to accommodate different rack mounting arrangements.
The kit includes an adjustable short support bracket pre-assembled at 18 inches, an adjustable long support bracket pre-assembled at 24 inches, a 1U torsion hinge, two 2U torsion hinges, front mounting plates and the required mounting screws.
The rear bracket support is compatible with selected NETGEAR M4250 and M4350 switches, including models such as the M4250-40G8F-PoE+, M4250-40G8XF-PoE+, M4350-48G4XF and several other compatible models.
