The Netgear MSM4332-100NES is a fully managed Layer 3 switch with 24 2.5G PoE++ ports, four 10G multi-gigabit PoE++ ports and four 25G SFP28 uplinks. It provides a 522W base PoE budget from its internal 800W power supply, with additional modular power supplies allowing the PoE capacity to reach up to 2,520W. The switch also supports Virtual Chassis stacking, advanced Layer 3 routing and professional AV networking features.
The switch provides 24 2.5G PoE++ RJ-45 ports supporting 2.5Gbps, 1Gbps and 100Mbps connections. Four additional multi-gigabit PoE++ ports support speeds up to 10Gbps, providing connections for higher-bandwidth network devices.
Four 25G SFP28 ports provide high-speed fibre uplinks for connecting the switch to compatible aggregation, core or other high-bandwidth network equipment. The ports support 25G, 10G and 1G transceiver modules.
An internal 800W power supply provides a 522W base PoE budget across the switch. Two modular power supply slots support compatible APS600Wv3, APS1200Wv2 and APS2000Wv2 units, allowing the total PoE budget to reach up to 2,520W.
Layer 3 functionality includes static, policy-based and dynamic routing. Virtual Chassis stacking provides non-stop forwarding and hitless failover, while NETGEAR management tools provide centralised control for compatible network installations.
NETGEAR IGMP Plus, AV OS and Engage Controller support provide features for professional AV networks and multicast traffic. The switch also supports AVB and SMPTE ST 2110 Grand Master Clock and Boundary Clock functions for AES67 and ST2059-2 applications.
The switch provides a 400Gbps switching fabric and supports jumbo frames up to 12KB. Individual port LEDs can display the assigned AV profile colour when using NETGEAR AV OS and Engage Controller.
