The NETGEAR EAX17-100PES is an AX3000 dual-band WiFi 6 mesh extender that expands an existing wireless network across a home or office. It delivers combined wireless speeds of up to 3Gbps, with up to 600Mbps on the 2.4GHz band and 2400Mbps on the 5GHz band. The extender features 4-stream WiFi, a 1.3GHz dual-core processor and a Gigabit Ethernet port for connecting compatible wired devices. Smart Roaming and One WiFi Name allow compatible devices to move between the router and extender while maintaining a suitable wireless connection.
The dual-band WiFi 6 extender provides combined wireless speeds of up to 3Gbps, with up to 600Mbps available on the 2.4GHz band and up to 2400Mbps on the 5GHz band. Four-stream WiFi provides additional capacity for multiple connected devices.
The extender can use the same WiFi name and security settings as the existing wireless network. Smart Roaming helps compatible devices connect to the strongest available signal as they move around the coverage area.
A 10/100/1000 Gigabit Ethernet port provides a wired connection for compatible devices such as computers, televisions, games consoles and other network equipment. The port uses auto-sensing technology for Ethernet connectivity.
