The Cisco C9300L-48P-4X-M brings cloud-managed flexibility to high-density switching environments. Designed for scalable deployments, it combines PoE+ support, advanced uplink capability, and full cloud-based control through the Meraki dashboard. With 48 full-power ports and built-in 10G uplinks, it's built to support demanding network loads while simplifying day-to-day management.

The Catalyst 9300X-M addresses the most demanding enterprise applications by combining the simplicity of the Meraki dashboard with powerful switching hardware. To satisfy high-bandwidth applications and the deployment of high-speed wifi access points, the Catalyst 9300X-M provides multigigabit ports, 1TB stacking, and modular 10/25 or 40/100G uplinks. The Catalyst 9300X-M delivers resiliency with fast stack convergence and StackPower. The Catalyst 9300X-M provides Adaptive Policy using an over-the-wire tag which segments traffic into security groups to deliver scalable security. The Catalyst 9300X-M is integrated under the Meraki dashboard to provide a simply powerful solution to the most demanding wired access applications.

Adaptive Policy provides simple & scalable security policies to segment traffic using Security Groups. Security Groups are created in the dashboard using natural language such as “IOT device” & “Guest.” The security policy intent (e.g., Permit or Deny) is then simply provisioned between Security Groups which results in the segmentation of each group's traffic. By making security policy management intuitive and scalable relative to legacy IP-address based Access Control Lists, Adaptive Policy empowers operators to confidently secure their network traffic independent of future network changes.

Meraki-Managed Simplicity

This switch operates entirely under the Meraki cloud architecture, giving IT admins centralized control of configurations, security policies, and performance monitoring from a single pane of glass. The Meraki license enables full access to these tools, including advanced analytics, traffic shaping, and firmware management.

Stacking and Expansion

Built-in StackWise-320 support allows up to eight units to operate as one logical switch, simplifying network scaling. The optional stacking kit enables high-speed interconnectivity between switches, reducing latency and increasing failover reliability.

PoE+ for Growing Networks

All 48 ports support PoE+ (802.3at), supplying power to access points, phones, cameras, and other devices without additional cabling. The switch is designed to handle full power across all ports when paired with the appropriate power supply configuration.

Performance and Design

With a switching capacity of 176 Gbps and a forwarding rate of over 130 Mpps, the C9300L-48P-4X-M supports high-throughput demands. Its energy-efficient, hot-swappable fans and PSU bays ensure uptime and serviceability in live environments.
