The Catalyst 9300-M addresses the most demanding enterprise applications by combining the simplicity of the Meraki dashboard with powerful switching hardware. To satisfy high-bandwidth applications and the deployment of high-speed wifi access points, the Catalyst 9300-M provides multigigabit ports, 480G stacking, and modular 10/25/40G uplinks.
The Catalyst 9300-M delivers resiliency with fast stack convergence and StackPower. The Catalyst 9300-M provides Adaptive Policy using an over-the-wire tag which segments traffic into security groups to deliver scalable security. The Catalyst 9300-M is integrated under the Meraki dashboard to provide a simply powerful solution to the most demanding wired access applications.
Adaptive Policy provides simple & scalable security policies to segment traffic using Security Groups. Security Groups are created in the dashboard using natural language such as “IOT device” & “Guest.” The security policy intent (e.g., Permit or Deny) is then simply provisioned between Security Groups which results in the segmentation of each group's traffic. By making security policy management intuitive and scalable relative to legacy IP-address based Access Control Lists, Adaptive Policy empowers operators to confidently secure their network traffic independent of future network changes.
Engineered for high-density deployments, the C9300-24U-M supports next-gen devices including wireless access points, IP surveillance, and VoIP terminals that demand consistent power and bandwidth at the edge. With UPoE across all ports, the switch easily supports endpoints beyond standard PoE requirements.
The C9300-24U-M features modular uplink support allowing IT teams to select 1G, 10G, or 40G SFP-based uplinks, aligning port speed and bandwidth with current infrastructure or future growth. Physical stacking of up to eight units ensures expanded port capacity without altering logical configurations.
This model includes an 1100W AC power supply and can be upgraded with a second PSU for additional redundancy. Designed with long-life hardware and redundant fans, the system is built for continuous uptime even in high-demand roles.
Through the Meraki dashboard, the C9300-24U-M offers zero-touch deployment, remote troubleshooting, real-time alerts, and integrated network visibility, all from a browser interface. This simplifies fleet-wide updates and enforces policy from one unified control plane.
