Rack
PDU 2G, Metered-by-Outlet, ZeroU, 16A, 230V, (21) C13 & (3) C19
The Schneider Electric Rack
Power Distribution Unit (PDU) distributes power to devices in a rack. The Rack PDU measures the load of the PDU, phase and each individual outlet. You can access the Rack PDU through Web, Telnet,
SNMP, SSH, or StruxureWare interfaces for comprehensive configuration and monitoring functionality. The Network Port Sharing (NPS) feature allows up to four AP8XXX Rack PDUs to be connected together within a rack in order to share one IP address
Outlets - The Rack PDU has twenty-one (21) IEC-320-C13 and three (3) IEC-320-C19 locking outlets . (The locking feature is compatible with Schneider Electric locking input cords and Schneider Electric locking jumper cords.)
Display interface - The liquid crystal display (LCD) and input buttons allow you to monitor current, power, and voltage measurements of the Rack PDU. Local communication can be established through the serial port, and remote communication through the network port. The USB port allows for firmware upgrades, and the In/Out ports enable connection of up to four Rack PDUs via the NPS feature. The environmental sensor port allows for monitoring of the temperature and humidity of the room or enclosure.
Power cord - The Rack PDU has one IEC-320 inlet. (Power cord provided on AP8459EU3 and AP8459NA3 only.)
Toolless mounting - The Rack PDU has two rear-mounted toolless mounting pegs for 0 U mounting capability in a rack or enclosure.
Availability
-
Integrates with StruxureWare Data Center Expert - An IT-ready, scalable access monitoring system that collects, organizes, and distributes critical alerts, surveillance video and key information, providing a unified view of complex physical infrastructure environments from anywhere on the network
-
Local Current Monitoring Display - The aggregate current draw per rack PDU is displayed on the unit via a digital display. The local digital display helps installers avoid overloaded circuits by providing a visible warning when the current draw is close to the maximum amperage draw of the strip. (Available on designated SKUs only)
-
Network Management Capabilities - Full-featured network management interfaces that provide standards-based management via Web, SNMP, and Telnet. Allows users to access, configure, and manage rack PDUs from remote locations to save valuable time. Associated with this feature is the ability to quickly and easily upgrade the firmware via network download to installed units for future product enhancements.
-
Alarm Thresholds - Define alarm thresholds in order to avoid overloaded circuits. Network and visual alarms inform the user of possible problems. (Note: Only available on units with the current monitoring capabilities. Please see SKU specifications for availability)
-
Load indicator LED - Indicates overload and warning conditions based on the user-defined alarm thresholds. Alerts users of potential overloaded circuits. (Note: Only available with units with local current monitoring feature)
-
Flash Upgradeable - Quickly and easily upgrade firmware via network download for future product enhancements. Eliminates the need to replace products already installed in the field when new features are released. (Note: Networked units only)
-
Metering-by-Outlet capability - Individual outlet level power metering provides a more granular view of the power distributed to equipment within the enclosure. It also provides the ability to analyze component power trends and perform capacity planning.
