The Allied Telesis AT-MCF3010T/4SP is a compact 8 port GigE media converter module for the MCF3300 system, supporting up to a max 24 conversions in a 1RU, 3-slot chassis. It ensures seamless and high-speed data transmission via SFP fibre and RJ-45 interfaces.
MCF3300 System Features
You can configure, monitor, and troubleshoot remotely using the management module. The system allows for backup, restore, and upgrade operations. It has multiple high-speed Ethernet interfaces for flexible network connectivity.
There is a USB console port for direct access during configuration and troubleshooting. The MCF3300 features a compact 1RU form factor with a 3-slot design. It includes robust security features such as firewall capabilities and encryption.
The system provides complete hardware monitoring to detect potential issues. MissingLink™ support ensures continuous connectivity by redirecting traffic if a link fails. Enhanced user management allows for multiple user accounts with granular access control. It is compatible with SNMP v1, v2c, and v3 protocols for network management. Administrators can shut down a port or whole card for power saving or security.
Remote management via Telnet and SSH can be enabled or disabled as needed. There is limited support for the Autonomous Management Framework (AMF). A redundant Power Supply Unit (PSU) ensures continuous operation. The system supports automatic assignment of IPv6 addresses.
It can be used as an unmanaged chassis by removing the management card.
