MCF3300 System Features

The system provides complete hardware monitoring to detect potential issues. MissingLink⢠support ensures continuous connectivity by redirecting traffic if a link fails. Enhanced user management allows for multiple user accounts with granular access control. It is compatible with SNMP v1, v2c, and v3 protocols for network management. Administrators can shut down a port or whole card for power saving or security.
Remote management via Telnet and SSH can be enabled or disabled as needed. There is limited support for the Autonomous Management Framework (AMF). A redundant Power Supply Unit (PSU) ensures continuous operation. The system supports automatic assignment of IPv6 addresses.
It can be used as an unmanaged chassis by removing the management card.
