The Installation Process
Whilst with most UPS installations the principle remains the same, every site is somewhat different. With this in mind, Carter Sullivan have developed a reliable process over the years to ensure that your installation is completed safely, on time and while providing the peace of mind you need.
01. Free Site Survey
Build a foundation for reliable connectivity. Maximise performance across your network and devices. Deploy and manage with simplicity and ease.
02. Handover Package
On receipt of an order to Comms Express, Carter Sullivan’s Installation Manager will create a full handover package for their in-house electrical engineering team. Part of this process may involve a second site visit to run through the works and confirm final details.
03. Risk and Method Statements
Carter Suillivan will provide a project plan, along with risk and method statements, prior to any site work beginning.
04. Installation Plan
On the day of the installation, one of Carter Sullivan’s engineers will run through the installation plan with you. Once site inductions have been performed Their engineers will install the UPS system, carefully adhering to both manufacturer and BS7671 guidance.
05. Completion
Upon completion of the works the Carter Sullivan engineers will provide a full handover. This handover includes user familiarisation, issuing of electrical certificates and commissioning documentation.
On receipt of the site documentation Carter Sullivan’s Installation Manager will check the reports and watch any handover videos created themselves to ensure the work meets the required standards. Carter Sullivan also revisit a large number of the sites following installation to ensure quality standards are are continued being met. This being the best time for customers to ask the questions they forgot to ask on initial installation, or any follow-up questions that may have arrisen.
