Restriction of Hazardous Substances directive
The RoHS directive requires harmful chemical substances to be eliminated. These substances could include lead, mercury, cadmium, hexavalent chromium, polybrominated biphenyls (PBB), and polybrominated diphenyl ether (PBDE) flame retardants.
This is particularly important for circuit breakers and wiring devices that are found in homes and offices.
The REACh regulation

In line with the regulation, Schneider Electric have developed plans for the replacement of chemical Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC).

This is particularly useful for companies using Schneider products, enabling them to monitor, control, save energy, or reduce their carbon emissions.
End-of-Life Instructions (EoLi)
Information on the end of a products life cycle, recyclability, and bill of material
