ProCurve Switch 1700 Series are Web-managed, fan-less 10/100 switches delivering affordable and highly reliable connectivity with fundamental Web-based management and configuration capabilities. The 1700 series consists of the 1700-24 and the 1700-8, both of which provide reliable and affordable network connectivity with basic management and configuration capabilities, such as VLANs and Link Aggregation, which are configured via an intuitive Web interface. The 1400 series replaces the ProCurve Switch 2700 series, providing more value at a lower price. As of April 1, 2007, the ProCurve Switch 2724 will no longer be available to order. The ProCurve 2708 has limited quantities remaining and will be available only while supplies last

The ProCurve Switch 1700 series complements the ProCurve Switch 1800 series as the newest addition to the ProCurve Web-Managed portfolio. Ideal for businesses making the transition from unmanaged to managed networks, the ProCurve Switch 1700 series consists of two Web-Managed switches. The ProCurve Switch 1700-24 is a 24-port switch with 22 10/100 ports plus 2 dual-personality ports. The ProCurve Switch 1700-8 is a small-form-factor switch with 7 10/100 ports and 1 10/100/1000 port. Ideal for deployment in open spaces, both switches feature silent operation via a fanless design. The ProCurve Switch 1700 series enables increased network capabilities without added complexity.
