The Global 5E products are designed for use in any voice and data structured cabling solution - offering up to 100MHz of bandwidth. The telecommunications outlets allow the terminal equipment to connect to the cabling via suitable baluns or adaptors.

The product supports any protocol designed to run within the limits of ISO/EIA/TIA class D Category 5 Enhanced performance specification, including 10BaseT, CDDI, Token Ring, 100BaseTx, ATM(155Mbps), Video and Voice etc.

Technical Description

• Global 5E outlets incorporate a four way snap-in PCB assembly mounted within a standard face plate.
• Due to the size of the product the mounting screws are presented at the top and bottom of the faceplate 
• RJ45 ports all comply to the ISO/IEC 11801:95 Category 5E standard
• The four way PCB module is mounted in a plastic carrier with a rear clip
• A label showing the colour code is mounted on the rear cable management clip
• The label is supported by the Alpha label software package
• Some back boxes that have four way screw lugs are unsuitable for this product.
