It operates on the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz wireless bands at the same time using concurrent dual-band technology. 5GHz - More bandwidth-intensive devices such as smart TVs/video streamers and games consoles. 2.4GHz -Less bandwidth-intensive devices such as smart home devices and smart speakers.

With two high-performance external antennas to ensure a strong, reliable 4G LTE connection, the DWR-953V2 delivers the strongest connectivity possible to multiple devices at the same time - allowing you to stream, game or work, without having to worry about buffering, dropouts or interference.
Disruptions can happen at any time, but we’ve built the DWR-953V2 to eliminate them altogether with D-Link’s Failover technology. When your Internet Service Provider is having technical difficulties, the DWR-953V2 will jump into action by switching from connecting to the Internet via your fixed-line (Fiber/Cable/DSL) to via 5G cellular data - so you can keep working, playing or watching, as normal.
