If you do not have an installed VDSL or ADSL faceplate in your premises you will need a filter or filters.
A filter must be connected to every wall socket where a user wants to operate a device – phone, fax, set top box (sky box if connected to the phone line), alarm system etc. 
The Billion UK VDSL/ADSL filter is compatible with the latest BT SIN 498. If you get noise on your phone line when you have VDSL/ADSL, or if your VDSL/ADSL connection drops when you pick up the phone - then this may be due to the use of poorly designed filters. For the best chance of avoiding these kinds of problems, we suggest using filters that have been designed to meet BT SIN 498.
The Billion UK ADSL/VDSL filter is compatible with ADSL, ADSL2, ADSL2+ and VDSL 17a profile.
