System Availability: True on-line operation with double conversion isolates equipment from power problems and provides the best protection available for critical systems. Pure sine wave power and zero transfer time to battery ensure compatibility with sensitive electronics. Optional battery cabinets provide unlimited runtime scalability to outlast any outage. Hot-swappable power modules eliminate costly and inconvenient repair downtime. They also support N+1 redundancy for improved fault tolerance.
Efficiency: Economy Mode operation saves energy and reduces operating costs. While input power quality is good, the UPS operates with maximum efficiency. If input power quality worsens, the UPS resumes double conversion to provide maximum protection. Replacing 80 kVA of legacy on-line UPS systems can save more than $10,000 per year while reducing the facility's energy usage and carbon footprint. Reduced input Total Harmonic Distortion (THDi) also reduces costs by eliminating the need to over-size generators. Although 3-phase power costs more to install than single-phase power, it tends to be more efficient for high-capacity applications (>20 kVA).
Management: Convenient front-panel controls report conditions via LEDs and an LCD status screen. Built-in communication ports connect to computers for local management or remote management. Optional network management cards enable standalone remote management via SNMP, Web, SSH or telnet.
