Add remote temperature sensors to your Watchdog or compatible PDU to monitor critical areas
Features
Plug-n-Play
Small and Lightweight
Waterproof
Description
This sensor allows you to monitor remote temperatures. Reporting back to the appliance in real-time, you can configure alarms to receive email, email-to-SMS and SNMP trap notifications when specified thresholds are breached. The sensor is suitable for a wide range of applications including monitoring of critical IT infrastructure, cold storage monitoring and more.
The standard temperature probe measures 1.25” (3.18 cm) in length. A 4” (10.16 cm) and 10” (25.4 cm) probe option is available for customers wanting to submerge these probes in water or glycol for liquid temperature monitoring.

Analog to Digital Converter
The Analog to Digital converters, better known as the A2D, converts an analog sensor into a digital sensor that can be connected to a digital sensor port on a PDU or Watchdog 15/100 environment monitor. Useful for adding additional analog sensors when all of your existing analog inputs are already used up with other sensors. It is compatible with Geist sensors as well as any industry standard sensors that are dry-contact or that emit a 0-10VDC or 4-20mA signal.

GTHD
Part Number: GTHD
Description
The GTHD digital sensor collects and transmits real-time temperature, humidity and dew point data to protect critical data center equipment from heat and moisture. The GTHD model offers two RJ12 ports, one uplink port to connect to a host device and a supplementary input for daisy-chaining.
The GTHD requires a host device to transmit data. It counts as a single digital sensor while reporting multiple temperature readings. The unit may be daisy chained with other GTHD or GT3HD sensors to form a sophisticated climate monitoring network with real-time data logging and alarming. This is especially useful when achieving in-row temperature monitoring for top, middle, and bottom of each rack as per ASHRAE guidelines. (Figure 1) The plastic enclosure mounts easily anywhere in the data center with screws, magnets or adhesive.
Sensor Details
• Temperature Range
• -4 °F to 176 °F (-20 °C to 80 °C) +/-0.5 °C
• Humidity: 5% to 95%, +/-3%
• Dew point: -58 °F to 185 °F (-50 °C to 85 °C)

Built to remotely monitor computer cabinet or server room conditions, Geist’s all-in-one combined digital sensor provides multiple remote environment readings as a complete package for Temperature, Air Flow, Humidity and Dew Point. This device allows for setting of multiple alarms and the provision of alerts via email, SMS, SNMP or voice phone call (Auto-dialler required)
Key Features:
Provides measurements for temperature, humidity, air flow and dew point.
Accurate and compact; easy to install.
Compatible devices support up to 16 sensors.
Get alerts via email, SMS, SNMP and/or phone call. (Auto-dialler required)
Sensors can span a distance of up to 200m.
The RTAFHD3 digital sensors communicate with a Geist climate monitor through a serial protocol. When the sensor is plugged into a digital sensor port, the monitor automatically detects and identifies it. Each sensor is allocated a ‘friendly’ name for easy identification. Readings are collected, logged and graphed by the Geist climate monitor, along with alarm configuration and notification.

GT3HD
Part Number: GT3HD
Description
The GT3HD digital sensor collects and transmits real-time temperature, humidity and dew point data to protect critical data center equipment from heat and moisture.
The GT3HD model offers four RJ12 ports to connect two remote temperature (RT) sensors, one uplink to connect to a host device and a supplementary input for daisy-chaining. The unit comes equipped with a 3’ (.9M) and 6’ (1.8M) temperature sensor to monitor locations within the server rack.
The GT3HD requires a host device to transmit data. It only counts as a single digital sensor while reporting multiple temp readings. The unit may be daisy chained with other GT3HD or GTHD sensors to form a sophisticated climate monitoring network with real-time data logging and alarming. This is especially useful when achieving in-row temperature monitoring for top, middle, and bottom of each rack as per ASHRAE guidelines. (Figure 1) The plastic enclosure mounts easily anywhere in the data center with screws, magnets or adhesive.

The GBB15 allows users to keep an eye on remote conditions from a secure Web interface and receive SNMP, email, and text message alert notifications when user-adjustable thresholds are exceeded.
The Web interface provides an overview of environmental measurements with real time sensor data. All measurements are logged allowing users to collect data for trending and capacity management. The GBB15 offers flexible access rights and security settings with up to three access account levels. It offers secure access through the Web and supports HTTP and HTTPS protocols. Up to 50 customizable alarms can be configured with alarm escalations per sensor.
Up to four digital sensors can be connected using a standard splitter. A variety of optional plug-and-play sensors are available for use with the GBB15 including but not limited to, temperature, humidity, airflow, power usage and more.
The GBB15 is a compact solution weighing less than half a pound and sized to fit in a 1U space at 5.25"L x 1.75"H x 1.5"W, which is perfect for tight instalments. With an operating range of -25° to 80° Celsius (-13° to 176° F), the GBB15 can be used to monitor temperature, humidity and other environmental parameters in a variety of applications including IT, telecom, healthcare, food supply and others.
Easily view and log temperature, relative humidity/dew point and external sensors over the intranet or the Web. No software required! Securely access the graphical user interface from a Web browser.
SNMP, Email & SMS Alerts
Trigger escalating alarms if temperature or humidity fall outside of specified parameters via SNMP (v1, v2c), email and SMS messages (email to SMS gateway). For example, specify an email notification to one or more users at 70° F, add another layer of personnel to the email alarm at 80° F, add your third party contractor at 85° F...specify up to 50 alarms per unit.
Interface IP Network Cameras
The Web page interfaces up to four IP cameras (not included), allowing you a quick view of remote conditions, especially useful in event of alarm.
No Software Required
The GBB15 is simple to install and use, requiring no special software other than a standard Web browser. The GBB15 connects to an Ethernet network with a standard RJ45 connector and sends data in standard TCP/IP packets. It is easily configured with a simple menu using a Web browser and can be password protected with three access account level types: Administrator, Control, View Only. From within an Intranet or over the Internet, the user can securely access the monitor by entering its IP address.
