Wireless Connectivity
The WAG102 Dual Access Point provides industry-standard access to network-attached corporate resources, email and the Internet. It supports both 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz 54 Mbps radio transmission with up to 108 Mbps in both 802.11g and 802.11a in turbo mode. This business-class Dual Band Wireless AP also supports Wireless Distribution System (WDS) for bridging and repeater modes and can also be config-ured as a bridge and access point simultaneously.

Wireless Networking is Secure
The WAG102 Dual Band Wireless Access Point comes with the latest security proto-cols, including the highest available wireless security standard, WPA2 Enterprise. 128/152-bit WEP encryption and advanced AES 256-bit encryption ensures the privacy of all wireless communication. 802.1x RADIUS server authentication controls wireless network access and centralises user authorisation across the wireless LAN. The WAG102 also supports MAC authentication with a 256-user Access Control List (ACL) to limit network access to specified users and VPN pass-through for private communi-cations between head office and branches or remote home workers. This names just a few wireless security features available with the WAG102 Dual Band Access Point.

Management & Power over Ethernet (PoE)
Integrated 802.3af-based Power over Ethernet support means that there is no need to locate the WAG102 close to an electrical power output or trail cables across the floor: Power can be transmitted over the Ethernet network instead. The WAG102 also supports SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol) and associated network man-agement software (including NETGEAR' ProSafe™ NMS100) to integrate your office wireless LAN with your wired infrastructure.

The WAG102 Dual Band Wireless Access Point is simple to set-up and use. It is ple-num rated, appropriate for placement above drop-down ceilings and under raised floors. This access point is also equipped with the convenient Smart Wizard™ browser-based interface for quick installation.
